"Rich is knowledgeable, humble, polite and responsive. He sold us great carpet at a fair price. He and his crew were perfect gentlemen while they were in our home for many hours installing it. They left everything clean and well organized. I would hire Rich again and I would refer him to friends. We first met Rich after calling him and arranging for him to bring carpet samples to our house. He arrived on time for our appointment and brought many samples with him. He also invited us to view even more samples in a showroom (though we found what we wanted in the samples Rich brought to the house). He explained the differences among the samples but didn't seem to be pushing any of them. He encouraged us to walk on the larger samples and to take them into the rooms where we would have them installed to see what they looked like in those rooms. Rich measured the three rooms. We were planning to use the same carpet in all three rooms. He worked diligently to calculate and re-calculate the amount of carpet to buy so we would have the fewest seams and the least left over. We picked a carpet and asked him to order it for us. Our meeting was not rushed at all. When the installation day arrived Rich called saying he was about 10 minutes late because of traffic on Rt 422. He arrived exactly 10 minutes late - I thought it was surprisingly considerate that he called given how close he was going to be on time anyway. He brought extra help with him to assist with our furniture. Rich and his guys cheerfully moved whatever needed to be moved (and later replaced it all). They were all pleasant visitors in our house and worked steadily from the moment they arrived. We didn't want to pay the dump to take our old carpets (our trash guys said they'd take them if we just waited until trash day) so Rich neatly cut all the old carpet and padding all up into manageable sized rolls and stacked it outside where I asked him to. The new carpets look great and Rich left the house clean and organized. I cannot think of anything he could have done to make this easier for us. I don't often take the time to write a review but sometimes someone just does such a great job that it would be wrong not to write one."
